Lebanon- Pray for Nahala, a Syrian Christian Sharing Jesus in Refugee Camps

According to VOM News, a Syrian woman who came to faith in Christ after fleeing the civil war in her country is now leading other Syrian refugees to Christ, using a Bible app that VOM helped develop. Nahala left Syria several years ago when the violence intensified in the area where she lived. After settling in a refugee camp in Lebanon, she met a Christian worker who introduced her to Jesus and regularly read the Bible with her. She then began meeting with a group of Syrian widows, reading the Bible and discussing the passages with them. The women could not read, so Nahala introduced them to a Bible app developed by VOM partners that enabled the women to listen to the Bible and use study prompts to learn about Jesus. “There isn’t one Syrian [we’ve met] who we haven’t talked to about God,” Nahala said. “My hope is that all of my people would know Jesus.”
